POST-GRADUATE
COURSE INFORMATION
Neuro Foot Reflex Therapy (Praxis Vertebralis)
Course description
Neuro Foot Reflex Therapy or Praxis Vertebralis is part of the Sorensensistem™ reflexology systems. It is taught in three parts of 2 days each.
It is working principally through the nervous system and therefore the treatment has a special emphasis on the spinal cord and brain maps represented on the feet, but we also include study of the Chinese 5 Elements too.
This 6-day course is taught in three separate 2-day Modules as detailed below:
PART 1
This 2 day course in Neuro Foot Reflex Therapy will teach you how to work with the nerve maps in the feet. It includes learning about the relationship between the central nervous system and the meridians, and the relationship between the nerve points and nerve zones in the feet and their connection to the organs, skin, muscles, parts of the brain, the cranial nerves and the chemical balance of the body.
You will learn about how postural problems can impact on the spinal nerves and how these in turn, create health complications. You’ll be taught to assess for the biggest deposit in the feet (as in the face with Facial reflexology SorensensistemTM) and for the biggest deposit in the ‘spinal cord’ in the feet. Neuro Foot Reflex Therapy is a completely new way of working with foot reflexology.
PART 2
We will build on our knowledge base commenced in Part 1, where students will learn to analyse and ‘read’ the emotional imprint on the ‘spinal cord’ and how to treat emotional blockages at the root of a client’s health problems.
We will also learn about the map of the brain cortex and how it transposes onto the big toes and how to analyse the 40 areas on the big toe (brain cortex) for damage or blockages and the protocols for re-balancing them.
PART 3
In this third 2-day module, we will study the nerve charts of the brain, and the 12 cranial nerves. You will learn how to analyse and ‘read’ these maps for blockages or damage to the brain and cranial nerves and how to address these blockages.
We will also study the muscle maps of the body, their relationship to the spinal nerves and the Chinese meridians and how to re-balance them.
The cohesive union of the three parts of the course will give you a greater understanding of the central nervous system and neuro-anatomy and its application in reflexology on the feet.
Practical work is a feature of all Parts 1,2 & 3 of Neuro Foot Reflex Therapy, so that your techniques in analysing and re-balancing from the feet are perfected.
